I'm sooo P.O.'ed with myself because I can't seem to stop spending money! My gosh, you'd think paying for almost half of this wedding would have forced me in to major spending lockdown, but it hasn't! Every time I see something I want for the wedding, I buy it right away. And not only that, but I've been buying clothing and stuff as if I'm not saving for a wedding. I don't even LIKE buying clothing (because I hate the way I look in everything) but nothing fits now! And filling my tank for my trips back and forth to NY are draining my funds! GRRR I need to just go to work, come home, and never leave the house!!!

I think you should come up with a budget but leave some leeway for splurges. I am always better when i have savings goals to meet!

Ive been feeling the same there are some months when Im really good and all my money goes in the bank. Then theres other times where I feel like all I do is spend money

Believe me... I 100% know what you are feeling! I have to talk myself out of whatever it is I am about to buy... people think I am nuts when they hear, ' NO, stop! YOu dont need this at all.' BUt I really do talk to myself...
I also need to stay home and purchase ANYTHING! Lets support each other and FM what we spend every day on crap... maybe that will help hehehe
Is there medicine that makes you stop buying??

Don't worry Bonnie, this happens to the best of us. Maybe it's just the change of seasons... we all want to buy new clothes. Now that Fall TV is starting, maybe you will be more occupied at home.

I am completely in the same boat as you... I feel the same way, but I set a budget... that way if there was anything extra to buy last minute for my wedding, or clothes I wanted, then I would have a certain limit that I would be able to spend. So far I'm doing OK...but FH on the other hand isn't... LOL
