I'm So Nervous!!!!

I'm reading about all your girls who are getting married this weekend.... I'm really happy for you all you must be so excited!!

As I'm reading these things I'm getting really nervous! I've been ok until this point. I know it's like less than 2 months away... 57 days omg.

I'm not nervous in a cold feet sort of way just nervous in a OMG this is really happening soon sorta way.

When did you all first get nervous??

at 3 months, i still felt like i had time... i just had my shower and altho it came fast, i still felt like i had things under control

then 2 months hit.. i think this is where i began to sweat a bit... have some mental breakdowns...lol

now today makes the 1 month mark for us... now i really feel like theres no time for anything... but have also gotten into the 'i dont give a flying F anymore' phase... i hope that phase continues bc i just cant stand peoples sh*t ... oh yes, and at this point is when GROOMZILLA had his 1st meltdown.... It was the first time i felt like 'wow... it isnt just me going crazy... FH ACTUALLY CARES TOO!!!'

As you can see, i am delerious at this point... thoughts of the HM are the only way im getting through it

I think it's off an on.
I get nervous one day then excited the next, etc.

I'm not usually nervous all that often though... but on occasion I am! Esp when i think about all the people that will be looking at us on the day of. I'm nervous to be the center of attention and in the spot light like that.

I went to 2 weddings so far during my engagement period... and they were both the most fun ever at any other wedding in my life... but watching what they had to do actually made me a little more nervous about walking down the aisle and just getting through the whole ceremony. Going to a wedding while planning you own and I'm sure even after your wedding is over... it's such a different experience!! Weddings will never be the same again after all this. You really see what goes into them and how all the little things tie together, etc.

FFIL is marrying us bc he is a deacon. AND he REALLY wants a mass. FH and I don't want that .. but we are going to do it to make him happy. However.. that also freaks me out... because it means we will have to be up there that much longer with all those people watching us and the cameras and stuff. my stomach is going to be in knots!! I probably shouldnt eat or drink anything before the ceremony! hahahaha! I don't want an accident while i'm up on 'stage'!! haha!

I know you meant this Q to be more for the more recent brides... but I figured I'd speak up anyway! Because I just never shut up!!!

Hahaha! It's great that FH had a meltdown too!! I'm curious to see what a guy melts down over. What was he freaking out about???

Well when almost none of his guys wanted to get the hotel room the night before, it truely upset him... He knew i was staying in the room with him, my girls would be in another room, and my fam members scattered around as well... He felt alone and that no one was going to be there for him, to support him ya know?

He told his BM how he felt numerous times and his BM still wanted to do things HIS way and didnt seem to care much about FH... and this is a guy who has been his best friend from when they were like 2... no joke...

So FH got to the point where he was like f them all... but BM ended up caving in and getting a room with some of the boys... one of the guys wrote out a nasty email saying 'vinny and gina wants us to do this... just do what they want... what is wrong with you guys, etc' ... It was a whole fiasco for no reason except that the BM is a dipsh*t

Yesterday!!

I really hate being the center of attention so I’d been surprised that I really haven’t been that nervous yet… but when I could finally say, “I’m getting married THIS MONTH!” I wanted to puke a lil bit.

WOW I can't believe that it took one of the guys to write that email to set them straight!!! But at least it worked out in the end. I remember you writing about that scenario.. but I don't think I ever got the final update on how it ended. At least in the end you got what you wanted.

Is the BM married yet? I'm asking because I think a lot of people learn a lot of things about weddings and how to act, when they are planning their own wedding. I feel like those who have been through it before tend to have more courtesy than those who haven't. In MOST cases... obviously not all cases.

Kerri Im with you Im so nervous about walking down the aisle and walking into the reception, and the first dance, i get jammed up when im the center of attention!!! Guess ill have to get used to it that day huh?!

FH is MOST worried about the first dance!! I think anything that puts you on the spotlight is just scary. And I teach adults for a living.. so I'm always the center of attention when you think about it that way. BUT this is SO different!!!!!

no... but he is engaged, but last i heard... he was going to get married at city hall and then have like a penthouse type party... they are not traditional in any sense of the word... so really, if they stick with those plans, they will never truely understand why we requested the things we have from them... as for the rest of the guys, no one is married... some have gfs, but i dont forsee any weddings in the future lol

so that theory is def ON POINT in our case
