soak them in nail polish that has Acetone in it. that should do it and soak time will be about 20-30minutes

i have only had them on for about a month ... are my natural nails going to be thinner than paper?????

I hate to say it, but yes. I had mine on for a little over a month & took them off myself 99% of them anyway and it hurt like hell and my nails are paper thin, weak and torn apart.
Oh the price we pay to be beautiful.

Hahaha, I felt the same way. But I wanted my nails semi okay and not damaged, so I started filing down the artificial nails with a metal nail file, and just let them grow out and take their course. It look about 3 months for that to happen. But now my nails are fine and not really weak from the artificial nails. I don't know what kind you had done and if they are easy to file. I had uv gel nails.
