I'm so sad today....

Last night I had to say goodbye to my MOH (friend who is like a sister). She is going Australia to travel around and explore until she starts a grad school program. She is won't be back until TWO weeks before my wedding which is 8 months away.

I am going to miss her so much, especially since she won't be here for all the pre-wedding festivities.

Sorry to hear that your friend is so far away now. I'm glad to hear that she'll be back before the wedding!

As a small consolation, at least with email and the internet it is so much easier to stay in touch.

I'm sure those 8 months will fly by with all of your wedding stuff. Too bad she won't be there for all of it, but you can tell her about it and keep in touch through email. What a great opportunity for her though!!!!

I know how you feel. My MOH lives in San Diego and probably won't be able to make it in for my shower (although I know she's coming home for a week in October), so I'm doing most of the stuff without her even though I always call her to let her know my progress
