Don't worry it will all work out 20% of your guest can't come... so divide them in to an A Group & get them out 10-12 weeks in advance & a B list in 6-8 weeks, make the A List rsvp DATE EARILER

I hear ya!! Our list ballooned to almost 250!!! SO far only 4 people are not coming and everyone else seems to be!! Oh please god, help me get some no's!!! I am hoping some guests have plans for Memorial day weekend!! (not my LIW girls of course!)

It will seriously all work out. Can you go through your list and realisticially mark off who you think won't come? We did that and it actually worked for us.....We invited 287, thought we'd have 245, ended up with 231.

Again, I should tell you that there is no science to this! We invited 250 and got 160(ish). People you never thought would come do. And people you thought would, don't.

I have to agree. I've gotten Nos from people I was 'sure' were going to come and Yes from people we thought definite not. I'd say you're about right with inviting 180, especially if you have OOT guest. You never know who has vacation plans, other engagements, monetary problems. You'll be fine.

I only guaranteed 110...but my list somehow is up to about 185....however, the room fits 180 (although it would be VERY crowded). I think and hope there are a lot of no's...especially from FH's parents list...there are a lot of out of towners and a lot of very ancient folks.
