The thought of booking all this stuff is giving me severe anxiety. ugh.
On top of this it seems like every week we have a house or car issue. I need xanax or something.
FH is getting mega antsy about booking and I think I'm gonna break out in hives!
Anyone else feel this way?

ummm yeah! Totally feel you. FH and I have been at a complete standstill since booking the RH and Photog months ago. We just don't have money for deposits when we are still fixing our house and have SO much furniture to buy!
I would still book an RH though, my RH has us pay every few months so it forces us to save for the next payment.
It's a vicious cycle. I need to do overtime to make more money but the more overtime I do, the more tired I am to do any more.

FH and I are trying really hard to find a RH that we both love and agree on. So yesterday we are talking about the ones we have seen. He goes I think I have a heart attack everytime I think about how much money we will be spending lol and we are trying to be money conscious lol he would absolutely die if he saw the prices for May or June at some of the halls. I think its natural to be stressed especially when you have other bills to pay. Just try to come up with a budget that it realistic and reasonable and stick to it.

Keep in mind that you had a decent amount of time before you start making payments on things.
Right now the only thing i'd book is RH, MAYBE photo, and MAYBE your DJ/Band. I wouldn't even think about looking at other vendors. Tastes change, people leave companies, companies go out of business and life happens.
I'm using Duet and even though they are very popular when I went to book my date 17 months before they had my date completely open.

oh i know the feeling Girl!!! Fh and i were engaged a year and 2 months before we booked the RH b.c of money... we then booked our photog/and video, and DJ.. and then life happened. In the corse of a month i had to rush my dog to the vet 2 times (cost 1500) and i had major car issues which was another 1000 out of my pocket... but ive come to realize something will always happen but you cant let it get in the way of your dreams... FH and i are going to struggle a little bit before the wedding but the outcome will be well worth it...

Ugh, tell me about it. FH and I just got a major blow to our budget from our taxes. Several thousand more than we were hoping to have to pay because of the business.
FH does not like to talk about the budget though because it stresses him out. I get stressed because I need to know that we can afford it! lol

Yes, money is a big issue!!! That's why we did everything so early to stretch out our payments and find the best deals!!!!

omg that was how i felt. Luckily my hall is amazingly priced for august (actually its amazingly priced for an off season but we're doing august!) We make our deposit and then make payments as we can if we want. Otherwise we pay half a month before the wedding and the rest a week before.

yes, apparently what im having right now is extreme panic and anxiety attacks, i even went to the emergency room the other night because of it. i feel like i cant breathe but everyone keeps telling me its just all the stress catching up

Yes its quite stressful but I suggest you dont rush into booking all your vendors.
Deposits are usually anywhere from 5% - 20% of the contract. Some vendors may allow you to put down only $50 or 100. The only constraint was my florist who required 20% to be put down. A lot of deposits can be placed on credit cards and the balance is usually due a month or a week before the wedding.
Also, the RH has payment plans. I paid $1K toward the RH deposit but some allow less. You then work out a plan to pay a certain percentage every few months.
After RH, the next 'big' vendor is Photography (and Video if you are adding it). Thats anywhere from 2 - 6K but like I said, you can put down as little as $200 toward the deposit.
The other vendors, you can wait until like 6-9 months prior to the wedding to book..Some even as little as 3 weeks to 3 months before. Limo companies - if you plan to get a specialty car (ie Pink Cadillac Limo, the Bentley, etc) then I would suggest you book those earlier.
Just remember once you sign a contract it can be REALLY hard to get out of it. I wanted to change my photographer a million times but if I get out of my contract, I forfeit my deposit which is at least several hundred dollars. So just be aware of stuff like that.

im alright....i think im getting better. just so much stress! i never had this before in my life, but its all worth it right
