I'm so upset...

I still live at home with my mother and we are selling the house that I have lived in for the past 22 years of my life..

& as I was thinking today I just realized my wedding pictures are not going to be at the house I have grown up in.

Instead they will be at a new house that we havent even gotten yet.

This just makes me upset because I want to remember the house I have grown up in and have it in my wedding pictures, but now I won't.

My father just sold my 'home' three years ago. It was heartbreaking for me to see him sell the house that I grew up in. I had always pictured myself getting ready there too the morning of my wedding. But now I'll either just do it at my current home or the hotel.

Ugh it's such a horrible feeling coming home & seeing the for sale sign up in front of the house!! :0( i feel like rushing the wedding just to take pictures in my house lol

I have no clue where I want to take the pictures now because I'm not going to want to do them in a new house :0(

I kind of understand where you are coming from... in a weirder way... my parents recently moved to far away, but left my brother the house that we all grew up in, and I was oh thats fine we still have the house... I can't even go in the house without getting upset, it's weird my parents changed the house maybe a million times and it was still my 'home' but now that they have it I feel like it doesn't have the same 'home' touch and I feel awful because that is where my wedding pics are being taken but I dont feel the same about it anymore

How soon is she selling? Have you done your epics yet? Maybe you can find a way to take some of them around your house - not really the norm for epics, but it could be nice given your situation.

whenever it sells, it sells.. no real time.
it's up for sale so whoever gives and offer, it sells!

Yea I definetly feel you. I mean I think it's the parents that make the house 'home' ya know?
I mean it's just me & my mom now because my parents are divorced and my brother is away at college but everytime I walk in, I just feel at home.. but seeing the for sale sign outside makes me queezy

Aww I'm not taking pics at my house either. Are you moving with your parents or getting a place with FH? If you two get a place together it might be great to have pics there!

Well my grandmother & mother are buying a two family together cuz my grandma just sold her house as well, so we are all moving in together and eventually FH & I will get our own place, but I just tried for a mortgage and got denyed

It's all about starting over. New home, new marriage, new beginning. Try to take a few nice pics with you and your parents to represent 'out w /the old.' In the new place, take some pics with FH to represent 'in w/the new.'
