My best friend since I am 3 years old Is going to law school. She just sent me an e-mail Saying how important I am and how happy she was that I picked her to be in the wedding but she got an Internship to a Law Firm of her choice in Cleavland and its very hard to get that and they only pick 2 or 3 people to go. I am happy for her but Im so upset and disappointed How selfish of me right!
ETA the weekend of my wedding she has a mandatory Bussiness Trip.

Aw, of course it's not selfish of you! That really stinks that she can't be a BM now. Is she saying that she can't be at the wedding at all?

It is not selfish of you this is one of the most important people in your lives. I am sure she is just as disappointed as you that she could not be your BM.

I'm sorry I'm a little confused - You ARE getting married on a Saturday right? I don't see how she couldn't come in either late friday night or Sat morning- she could even bring work with her if she needed to - I have a lot of friends who have had summer jobs at firms in the city who were able to find 1 day to go to a wedding.
