im soo angry!!! VENT

So for a while my mom has been telling me that as soon as she was done with school we would go dress shopping... So i called Klienfelds a month ago and made an appointment for this weekend.

Since then every week ive been making sure that my mom and grandma didnt make any plans for this weekend since it will be my first time looking at dresses and i am UBER excited!!! Ive been talking about it for a MONTH!!!

Last night i get a call from my mom.. saying my grandma has a luncheon with a few of her friends for her birthday ( it was supposed to be on Sunday but one person couldnt make it so they changed it to saturday) So she asked me to change MY appointment to next weekend. Now it might sound a little selfish but i am really upset and really pissed off! Couldnt my grandma say to them NO i cant make it on Saturday i already have plans and have them change the luncheon to the next weekend... i mean they changed it for another woman! She should have put her foot down and said NO....

Like how can they do that to me.... they both know how exicted i was to go this weekend and how i have been looking foward to this for like a year and a half since i got engaged! how can they ask me to put off the dress shopping again!!!!!

Sorry for the Long post but i needed to get that off my chest!

I'd be annoyed as hell. Alot of people have been doing this to me lately and I'm tired of it. You make plans in advance FOR A REASON.

You have to call kleinfelds asap if you are changing your appointment. i think they need 24 hours or 48 hrs advance notice or they charge you.

Can you go with just your mom? you can make another appointment and bring your grandma and show her the one you narrowed it down to

Can you go without them this weekend and then go back again another time with them?

My mom is a very difficult person... and she is very opinionated.. if i go with just her it will probably turn in to world war three... lol... we both want my grandma there (especially me we have the same kind of tast) and it wouldnt be the same if she wasnt...

I called Klienfelds to reschedual last night and was able to get an appt for next week but i am still p.o.ed becuase i shouldnt have had to change it to begin with!!!!

You are not being selfish... I would be upset too. Its your first time going dress shopping and its SO EXCITING! Im sure they prob didnt realize that is was going to upset you. Did you tell either of them how upset you are about this? I understand that its her Birthday Luncheon but they couldnt make it another day knowing you made this appt a while ago?!?! Im sorry your going thru this
