IM SOOOOO FED UP!! WR! WR! shocking, right?

so the whole me trying to COMPROMISE and try to SAVE MONEY and be a GOOD DAUGHTER... well.. it didnt go over too well.


instead of having my mom spend $4+ per shower invite, i decided to do them myself. only problem was the pack didnt come with RSVP cards. so i went to a wedding supply store/florist and couldnt find 1 effin company that has the same color pink as my DIY invites.

my mom got mad at me and just told me to order the invites i originally wanted and to be done with it.

then came the favors. She got bath and body works shower gel for my shower. get it? har harr
well i trieddddddd to be crafty and wrap them myself in tulle... UNSUCCESSFUL! so now we are getting those professionally wrapped.


next came CPs for my shower. i wanted to just buy orchids from the florist and i was going to DIY the cps. get 24 inch cylender vases form michaels.. throw in some crystals and BAM..
well MOTHER doesnt like that idea. she thinks it looks ugly.

so now i have to pick out huge floral CPs to please her.

just venting! sorry.

and why not try those lil organze bags for the bottles and then the tulle for the jordan almonds. you cant mess up dropping a bottle in a bag can ya?

we did a response email address for our eparty-we made one with google. It worked out pretty well.

i feel your pain, me and DIY just do not mix lolollllll when i tried to make something it ended up costing me more in supplies just to make ONE than it would have to just buy the damn things

That's really one of the funniest things I've heard. It's nice that your mom just wants everything to be perfect and would rather buy it than have you spend time making them yourself. But I totally understand about wanting to DIY everything because I cannot help being super anal myself. Let's see how that goes once I attempt my first DIY project.
