So I started reading the Twilight series after everyone who has read it told me you have to read the books if you are into the movies since the books are so much better. I put it off for a while but I now I finally started to read them.
I frigin love these books! I 'm already halfway through New Moon and I want to read Eclipse before I see it and Breaking Dawn before it comes out.
Now, it's not bad enough that I'm obsessing over these books right now and even reading them on the train in plain site of everyone and their mocking eyes, but I just went on Amazon and purchased the DVDs of Twlight anf New Moon because I'm in such the mood to watch them.
I'm completely and 100% a 13 year old

I read them too within 2weeks i think LOL ... 3 of them... Bc i dont want to read BD yet until I see the movie...
Books are so good.. Makes u just think about Vampires & Wolves... Well in my case, I AM SUCH A VAMPIRE GIRL... SO I am Edward's Team =)
But its not lame!!!

I read 25 pages of the first book and never picked it up again, haven't watched the movies either..
ps. it's totally ok to be a 13 year old, I still SWOON over Justin Timberlake..

I totally hear ya. I love these books. When everyone was reading them, i refused to even look at these books. Then about 8 months ago, i decided to read it and loved them. I was so embarrassed for loving them, but i have now embraced my lameness.

My FSIL read all of them (probably twice) and she kept telling me 'Just read it, you're gonna love it'.
I understand that for the movie's sake not ALL of the detail in the book can be put in, but I just love the way the story plays out in the book better. Especially in the scene in Twilight when Edward and Bella are in the clearing when he shows her his skin in the sunlight. Such a great scene in the book!

I love Twilight! I read all the books before the movies came out. FH always makes fun of it even though he has seen both movies more than once
FH's fave line he is always saying:
'I have the skin of a killer' and then he screams like a girl.

dont worry... you aren't lame. and if you are lame - then so am i! haha I love the books. they are addicting. the moviesaren't as great IMO BUT they are getting better! haha
the books are GREAT though! I couldn't put them down.

i ordered all four from amazon, and read all four of them in two weeks. It was over the summer last year and everyday we went to the beach, FH was like are you friggin kidding me??? I didnt talk to him the entire time! I was like ' youhavenoideaineedtoknowwhobellapicksjacoboredward!!!!'
