I'm still here....with wedding reviews....IT SHOWERED...wedding updates
Hey Everyone,
Well I know I have been MIA, but since this semester started everything has just been crazy. With student teaching, working, and taking class I feel like I don't have time for much else. But I have been lurking, I am just usually too tired to type my updates, so I do know what's been going on around here. And BTW this is the real Chrissywish...pics when I get home!!!!!
So first things first. I haven't gotten very far on my wedding planning, but I did make my Will You Be My Bridesmaid Cards, and have started asking a few of my girls. I haven't asked everyone yet, but I wanted to ask my cousin in person so she got hers!!!! But like I said, pics when I get home!!!!
Wedding planning wise I also managed to buy my centerpeices, I will take pics, but I have to play around with them, but they will be candles, and I cannot wait to see how they look at WCC.
Wedding reviews. I went to my cousins wedding in Nebraska and it was great. Now I won't give too much of a review per say, because it's the midwest and thigns are just different out there. FH's jaw about hit the floor when the FIRST thing they did was cut the cake. It was a good time though. Her colors were orange and yellow and as soon as my aunt emails me all the pics I will post. She had daisys for her flowers, beer and margaritas to drink, a kareoke dj, and it was just a good time. I did get to see a lot of the pre wedding planning the week before and realized that my goal is to do everything AHEAD OF TIME!!!!! The week before I made programs, flower boquets, fittings and so many other things!!!!
Side note: While in nebraska we went out for her bachelorette party and i bought a whole round of drinks for 5 dollars...yes 5 dollars...and it included liquor!!!! College night beers are a dollar for a 16 ounce beer!!!!!
While in Nebraska, it also SHOWERED. Yes my mom, aunt and cousin threw me a surprise bridal shower. It was really sweet. It was only a few of my immediate relatives, but it was just nice to be special enough to get to be there for the little things because they are so far away!!!!
Let's see what else. I went to a wedding last weekend at East Wind. (I will write a separate little thing for that, but look at treant425 to see all the pics) East wind estate was beautiful and girls have nothing to worry about there for the guest point of view.
We also have planned my engagement party. It will be June 2nd, backyard type of thing. I'll post pics of the invites!!!
FH started a new job, and our schedules are opposite now!!!! We went from seeing each other everyday to 3 days a week. It's not easy, but you gotta do what you gotta do!!!!!
So thats where I have been. When I get home I will update with pictures, and I look forward to being around a lil more often!!!!!
