I'm still soaking WET....
Even though my shower was last Saturday, July 19th! My sister (MOH) and Mom did an PHENOMENAL job…along w/ the help of all my BM’s, and FMIL. They managed to surprise me, which is NOT an easy task. It was held at the Pleasantville Country Club, in Westchester.
So the surprise story is actually funny, we have 8 weddings this year, including our own and FH is in two of them. So he was at a bachelor party for one of the upcoming weddings—it was up in Lake George where his friend has a house and he left Thurs evening. Earlier on in the week FH emailed me and said that we were invited for a luncheon and presentation at the P’ville CC to see if we wanted to become members. I’m like I don’t want to join a country club! Just stay up at the bachelor party and have a good time!! LOL. He’s like well it’s free lunch we don’t have to join but I want to check it out…I was soooo NOT looking forward to going b/c I still have so many things to do for the wedding.
Needless to say I was VERY surprised to find out it was my shower…even though I spotted my sister’s car in the parking lot…FH was like you know her license plate…I’m like yes, unfortunately I have that kind of attention to detail!

My bridal party did an OUTSTANDING job…two of my BM’s made all the centerpieces…white hydrangea, some kind of pretty orange flower and turquoise dendrobium orchids. The food was amazing and we played a lot of cute games.
While I was opening the presents they kept people busy by playing bridal bingo w/ the presents I got. Also, whoever’s gift I was opening, they had to stand up and ask a question about Rich (that he had already answered) and if I got it right I got a scratch off lotto card, if they got it right they got the lotto card.
I had an amazing time and truly feel blessed to have such great family and friends. Now for the pics, which one of my friends finally sent me, as I didn’t have my camera!
