so funny!

my FH has to work tomorrow (no day off for NYPD!) so he went home to sleep. my brother just came by to pick up his kids....(he came by much earlier than expected) but now i don't want to shower and stuff to go out to the bar. :-P

although there IS a bottle of Beringer white zin in teh fridge.....hmmmmmmmm

I sadly just thought...'we should all make a date to drink and post together sometime'... how dorky am *I*?? If my fiance saw me write that Im pretty sure Id never hear the end of it.

While Im on the topic of doing embarassing things... my brother and I split an ENTIRE large pizza today... when I get my a-s-s in front of a NY pizza I just can't stop.

At least it wasn't a whole pie!

I had 2 ice cream sandwiches for breakfast!

I didn't feel like eating cereal or eggs and the kids were still asleep.

as for the wine...it hath been opened. my mom and i just toasted to being stuck at home on turkey eve.

i'm gonna finish it off myself in a little bit. hehe

and is it just me or do wine bottles seem to skimpy! i just poured 2 (albeit decent sized) glasses of wine, and i feel like there's less than half left! i hate that!

I was JUST saying that to FH the other night... I popped open a bottle of gourmet, expensive, Yellow Tail shiraz and I said to him 'Im going to finish this bottle and I dont feel like thats ridiculous'... it really was just a little more than three glasses!

But saying 'I drank a bottle of wine by myself' sounds ridiculous!

This is why you MUST have the back up Box O' Wine! You see... you drink the skimpy bottle first to appease your palate... then when you are not really tasting anymore, you start in on the cheap-O box. Trust me... it gets the job done.

Now the kids are in bed. FH is snoozing. Puppy is crated and I have the WHOLE house to myself. I am wondering if I should hit up the fridge for ANOTHER ice cream sandwich... or pop a soft pretzel into the microwave. I am drinking a bottle of pinot... any suggestions?
