I decided that instead of giving each member of the bridal party cards with their gifts at the Rehearsal Dinner, I would just write something big and read it aloud. So I wrote a nice little something to my parents, to my sisters, and then to the rest of my Bridesmaids, pointing out each person individually and how much they mean to me. I'll be READING it because there's no way i can think on the spot and I'm also a writer so it just comes easy for me. But oh my God - i could not even get thru writing it without tearing up. I'm such a mess. lol. I hope i don't cry while reading it. i hate that.

I think thats really sweet. And the fact that you are tearing shows how much they really mean to you. You are not a wuss!

Not a wuss at all. I'd say a caring and appreciative person would be a better way to say it.

Not a wuss at all....I think it's beautiful what you will be doing and even if you do tear up it's OK...just just the overwhelming love you have for everyone

thanks. I hate getting emotional though. It's kinda hard because I'm leaving home right after the wedding, so that makes it even more of a bitter/sweet farewell to the family. Oh well - - I'll practice reading it more often so that when the day comes, it's kind of a 'Been there, Done that' deal and I no longer feel the need to tear up
