So i actually had a great day at school today..2 of my bad kids were in the suspension room all day..and i have like 5 others absent so im driving home thinking about what a great day i had...
when the car in front of my stopped short, so i stopped short (i was far enough away from him that i didnt hit him) but the car behind me hit me
So i look at my car and all thats wrong with my car is a scratch so i was like oh whatever thats fine (honestly i kinda felt bad for this woman anyway cause it was the iddiot in front of me that caused it)
Well as im driving im geting paranoid thinking i should have checked it more, or gotten her info just in case...now im home and i looked at it carefully and it really is just a scratch but what i didnt realize was that my bumper is loose uhhhhhh im such an iddiot! do you think i should just leave it alone and it will stay? or do i absolutely have to get it fixed
arghh now im in a bad mood and i have another photographer meeitng today..sorry just wanted to vent thanks for listening girls

i hope so! do u know how much that will cost tho? im just so annoyed cause the guy in front of me says sorry for stopping but he saw the light camera flash which is such bull...bc first of all if you have seen the traffic lights that has the camera in it...it only flashes if you go through a red light (ive known people who have gotten a ticket this way) but anyways it was yellow when i went through it (it might have just turned red when the woman behind me went through it) but it wasyellow when i went through so theres NO way it would have flashed..the lady that hit me was like 'even if it did you can stop short in the middle of the road!!'

Call up a shop and ask for a quote....they may say bring it in to check out, free of charge. Good luck.

That really s*ucks. Try taking it to a mechanic and ask if it should be fixed, tell him you don't want any work done until you know how much its gonna be... Some of the nice mechanics wont charge you if it doesn't need to be fixed

when i got into my accident about a year ago, the guy totally ripped my bumper off and f*cked up my car... obviously we went thru insurance & he ended up paying for ALL the damages... but i didnt want to drive around with no bumper till that happened so i had my mechanic put it back on & he only charged me $50... since yours is just loose it probably wont be that bad... check with your mechanic & if you are close to massapequa i can give you the name of mine and you can go there if you want!!

Don't go crazy over thinking, 'I should've' because who knows what would've happened if you went through insurance..you know?

yeah thats true..oh course i get home and FH's like 'why didnt you take down there info anyway????' im like argh when something like that happens to me i get like freaked out for while and i just dont think about things i should have oh well its too late now and yeah for all i know if i went through insurance it would have gone up for me

Both times that I got hit from behind, my bumper was totally ripped off
If I were you, I would definitely get it checked out by a mechanic. If anything, he can make it tighter for a small fee.
