I'm such an idiot

I was deleting pics from one of my folders into my recycle bin and instead of emptying the recycle, I deleted the actual bin Don't ask, I wasn't paying attention and thought I was emptying the bin! Does anyone know how I can get it back onto my desktop? I tried doing a search and check control panel, but I can't find it! I can still send things to the recycle bin, I just can't empty the bin because I can't find it!

You might have just deleted the icon if you can still send things to the recycle bin. Try this: open my computer...click on the icon for the recycle bin and drag it onto your desktop. That should create the shortcut on your desktop. Hopefully that is what you needed to do. FM me if I misunderstood you or you need more help. Good luck!!!

mistakes happen.,.don't beat yourself up over it, especially when it is not permanent....I would do the same as cutechef offered....let us know if we can help anymore.
