I'm taking such pleasure In This

After all of the heartache FILs have given me, they're getting it back. About HALF of their guests are RSVP'ing no! HAHAHAHA.

They are very unlikeable people - those are the words of one of their family members, not me - so I'm confident that's why all these people aren't coming. And the best part is, they don't understand why so many people are saying no! (And some of them don't even know who they are!)

They invited DOUBLE the people my dad did (basically everyone under the sun...literally) and still, my dad has more people coming!

I should also add that my FH has NO idea who ANY of the people on his parents guest list are. Nadda. (Except for his family and one or two other couples.) He laughs when I tell him more people said 'no'.

Whoever told me that karma comes back to get you was right....

Well on some level I do believe in Karma, I would still be on the watch. Family, YES FAMILY will pull stunts. If they are as difficult as you have portrayed them to be, prepare yourself that they may only now offer to pay for THEIR PORTION of guests now that their numbers aren't equal. I hope it works out for you.

I didnt mean to be a Debbie Downer, but I see what money has done to familes and Id hate to see it happen to you!

I agree with Leslie. Also I don't know how yout FH feels but remember to take his feelings into consideration. Somewhere around 70% of the guests from his side said no and he really felt bad about it, like they didn't care enough to come to his wedding.
