I'm telling you ladies negoiate the price of your gown....

I did and just saved another $60 bucks. I called the store i really wanted to deal with that another store had offered it to me at a particular price and they matched it. You can so save money on your dress. I wish i knew this when i was booking my vendors

So true...I know so many girls said that they got money off or something thrown in when getting their dresses.

I got a great deal b/c someone mismarked my dress

Brilliant!!! I shall try this all the way around! We were able to negotiate the RH, and were planning on trying the DJ, but never even occurred to me to negotiate over the dress.

That's the one thing that we have been doing with all our vendors....NEGOTIATE...they realize that if they don't want to come down on price to make the sale....another vendor will.

I did the same thing! I really liked the place that I got my dress but wanted them to come down so I said another place was giving it to me cheaper & they took money off the total of my dress, veil, & tiara! love it!..FH is the talker for everything else. I was only able to to that one because it was over the phone..lol. He did with RH, DJ, Photog wouldn't really budge but in the end made out on the deal

Yupp they'll definitly work with u. I ended up saving about 200 by shopping around and then negotiating the price too.

thats great advice!!! We have negotiated everything we have booked so far.. or tried to at least.
but FH is realyl good with that.... I really didn't think there'd be much play with dresses... but that's good to know! I wish I could bring FH with me to help negotiate! lol I S*U*C*K at that!
