Last night me and FH went to see Chicago (it was fabulous by the way!). Before the show we went to a lounge and had some drinks. Two girls were sitting next to us and one was complaining to the other about her husband. I could hear her that well, but FH was being really snoopy. Anyways she must have just been married because she mentioned that she kept forgetting to sign her new last name. She had a bit of a staring problem and it was obvious that she was flashing her ring for everyone to see. (it was very pretty by the way). It tickled me because I started flashing my ring back!!! I'm that girl too! We should all just take any opportunity to flash our rings to our hearts content!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do the same thing! At restaurants, meetings, lounges, etc. Another thing I also do compulsively is try to see if the stone is loose. I had it resized a few times and one time it was loose. The jeweler fixed it (and it has 6 prongs), but sometimes I feel like I can never be too sure!

The thing is - my ring is so tiny and a sapphire that even when I flash it - I'm not sure too many people notice!!!
Oh well - its only important that i know its there, and my true gem is my FH!!!

Thanks! When we were picking out our ring, the woman was so impressed with me and my attitude - I told her - its not about the ring - thats a cold piece of jewelry - its about the relationship!

I do the same thing at meetings.

I'm that girl also!!! I find it hard to go to Bed, Bath and Beyond because their lights are the BEST for staring at your ring!! I've done research!!

i have the same problem when i'm driving!! i have to remind myself to look at the road...and drive with just my right hand so that my left isn't getting any sunlight!!
