i don't have wedding shoes
or undergarments
don't know what my hair will look like on my wedding
i have TWO make upartists..
i just got into an argument with one of my bridesmaids and she may be quitting/i may be kicking her out..
we have half a honeymoon
i haven't met with our dj at all
my mom is STILL making invitations for additional people to come
i dont have a veil
my fg doesn't have shoes
no tuxes have been ordered.just registered
oh (not a problem, but a pleasure) I just found out that Im' pregnant so even though i'm being fitted next week...the dress prob wont' fit in two months..



and i wouldn't change my life.. my life's just fine fine fine fine fine fine!!! (in the word of mary j)

I can so relate to how you are feeling but then again I have a few more months to play around with before my wedding. However, maybe you can get a coordinator to help you out and let them take in some of the stress and do some of last minute coordinating. Just a suggestion! Best of Luck

my dress isn't in yet.
i haven't met with a single florist, or limo company.
i have no idea who's doing my hair or makeup.
i haven't ordered all the pieces of my invitations yet...
FH hasn't even looked at tuxes...
i have no day of jewelry or hair accesories or veil.
neither my mom or my FMIL have looked at dresses
we never replied to our final meeting noticed from our RH
my best man can't come to the rehersal...which i haven't even booked yet.
i don't know who's performing my ceremony

we haven't even applied for our passports yet...

and i don't care!

i so...don't...care.
anyone else feeling like this?
oh... i've got less than 4 months to go btw.

i'm super excited about the wedding and being married... i just don't want to do anything anymore lol

this is the best thread i've ever seen on here! so glad to know i'm not alone! my wedding is a little after yours but i still haven't done a ton of things! like....

booked airline tickets for our honeymoon (we have the hotel, but no way of getting there yet)
i've had two hair/makeup trials but wasn't blown away by either and now i think i want to do it myself, except for i have no idea how to do my own hair
haven't ordered our rings
haven't ordered our invites
have NO idea what to give out as favors
cannot decide on DOJ or accessories for the life of me
have NO idea what our ceremony will be like
my mom hasn't looked for a dress yet
haven't ordered a ketubah because we are too stingy to spend $300 so we keep looking and looking but can't bring ourselves to purchase
haven't looked a FG dresses
haven't even thought of what gifts to get for people in the wedding party

should i keep going??? and i feel the same as you...i just don't care. i sooo want the wedding to come and i can't wait to be married to my wonderful FH, but i'm sorta over the planning process....maybe this is normal??

i think it's normal, at the FMs and replies to this are making me feel that way.

i also think i have a case of the birthday/holiday/winter/wedding blues...

id definitely start soon especially with the passports!

I'm telling you, it's the winter bride syndrome. While I have mostly everything done, it was hard to keep motivated since a lot of my vendors (florists, limos) told me not to worry until after the holidays. I think that it's different for the summer ladies who have to battle a little more over vendors.
But I have to go with the group and say . . . get your passports!

I think everyone goes through this at some point in their wedding planning. It's very overwhelming and a whole lot to do....especially if you're pretty much doing it on your own. I've already gone through it a couple of times I would just give myself a week or two break when I didn't do any wedding planning and then realize that I still had lots to do and get back to it full force.

Good luck and definitely let me know if you need help/ideas with anything

I feel almost the same but you really need to get some things done.

My gown, veil, blusher, and slip are not in yet either.

I just recently got shoes, bra, and DoJ done, my BM's ordered their gowns, and my MoH needs to do that soon.

I am dying to finalize things with the RH atm..lol they want to wait until January.

Don't let it go too long or else you're gonna end up getting a wedding planner.

My dress didn't come in till 6 weeks before my wedding. My girls wore different off the rack BM dresses. I bought my veil at my final fitting, which I lost promptly after the reception. You can get your invites in less than a week (einvite.com). Someone will be available to do your hair and makeup--I promise you. Half of my guests left their expensive favors at the tables. The flowers are looong gone. My DH and I are taking our HM this february--7 months after our wedding...

We are married. In the end, that's all that matters.

It will get done.

Do the passports now. . .my friend got married, and because she waited so long to apply, she almost didn't have her passport in time for her honeymoon!!! They were so backed up, she had to make some phonecalls to some local politicians to have her application bumped up!

actually, you dont need to worry about your passports yet, i JUST applied for it 2 weeks ago and i got mine in 10 days...and i didnt do any express anything or pay any extra, i just gave the regular money in at the post office
