BTW I forgot if I asked you what your affiliation was. Can you work from a Conservative shul?

I am Reform. It depends on the couple and the shul if they would be comfortable having A--a woman and B--a Reform Cantor perform the ceremony.
Many conservative synagogues still arent egalitarian.

Since I am not Conservative, I would not feel comfortable working in that setting.

If we can afford the catering, I want either a bris or a baby naming at Temple Chaverim. You're welcome there, I assume!!! I can't picture having everyone to my house 8 days after a C-section. However, in some ways I do want it to be conservative (until the mohel starts telling me and only me how to care for the circumcision area). I was at a bris once where the mohel reviewed all the info with the mother while keeping his back to the dad as if the dad would never need to change a diaper.

No, I don't know if it is a boy yet. I love boys but I have bris anxiety.
