A friend of mine used him for her flowers and everything was beautiful, they were pricey but she got expensive flowers

My mom works for a florist who doesn't do wedding work, but does funeral work (sounds morbid but they are located across the street from two huge cemeteries) as soon as I got engaged they told me to book with James Cress, they said their wedding work is amazing, and the people are great to deal with.

i think its a personel choice...my SIL went to them and hated it - she had specific things she wanted and they did the whole 'Oh no - that's not what u want...THIS is what u want' and wanted to charge her a ton.....BUT i also have a friend who's wedding was beautiful..she wasn't too particular & didn't have much of a budget so she let them do their thing...take a visit & check 'em out..just 'cause u set up a meeting doesn't neccesarily mean u have to book. good luck!

i have heard wonderful things about them...i live nearby them and know they have been around forvever, only thing is they do have a reputation of being really expensive

We had the same problem with them. I told the woman that I wanted something that wouldn't cause huge allergy problems, and I didn't want all roses, but there were 2 dark varieties I did want. The package she pitched at the end of the meeting was all white roses. She was unable or unwilling to make a single suggestion for an alternative flower, I have no idea why. Then, she had the unbelievable nerve to tell us she'd 'take our wedding' even though it was less than $1000 because we didn't ask about prices, we were just going by her suggestions.
We went to Main Street Florist in Center Moriches.
