Our wedding is July 2006. I want to start looking at BM dresses and florists, but want a color scheme decided first. That's where the problem lies. I cannot decide between the following... Aqua Tiffany Blue Fuschia (but not TOO bright) A dark Lilac (don't want too light that it looks white in pics).
I love blues and greens, that is where the Aqua and T.Blue come in. But I have fallen in love with the now popular fuschia color and the dark lilac I am seeing everywhere.
Any pics of dresses in these colors?

I have a suggestion, post pics of the colors you want. I am not suer what shade of acqua you are talking about. Tiffany Blue is a shade of acqua.
Also, do you want your flowers to blend or match. You can get fuschia and lilac flowers, but blue flowers are hard- and not very natural looking.

I would say tiffany blue or magenta. But remember a lot of dresses don't come in the shades that you might be looking for. For example, I really liked these Lazaro BM dresses, but none of the colors worked.
It might be easier to look at dresses first. I knew I jsut wanted fall colors & not all dreses came in soemthing appropriate, so that narrowed my search to start with. If I was only lookignfor one specific color, I wuld have narrowed my choices down even more.
Instead, I found a dress i loved & then picked the color I liked the most of the ones it came in.

Can't find dresses for all colors. Here are samples. #1 is Tiffany Blue #2 is Aqua #3 is fuschia color I like #4 the lilac color I like actually I saw from MrsWask's pics from her wedding, it's a Jim Hjelm dress in I think the color is Tranquil.

Here's a dress in a Lilac color...it's by After Six
I saw a pic once (can't remember where I found it) where the color scheme was aqua and periwinle - it was beautiful! Very 'water'-like. If I hadn't bought my dress already (with pink beading) I might have changed my color scheme!

Wow! I really like the lilac color. Also like the blue too so it's hard. I am doing a blue because it is one of my favorite colors! That's a toughy...would not go with too many dark colors in the summer.

I'm partial to Fuschia (that's my color). I originally wanted tiffany blue but found it very hard to find the color. If you like it you might want to search for Robin's Egg Blue. Dessy and After Six make dresses in Fuschia. Good Luck.

MrsKinMay05 and I are the other T.Blue brides Here is one dress I love but haven't gone to see yet. It's Jordan by Bill Pesce. I think that you could work with Aqua/T.Blue and Dark Lilac definitely. They really look great together with white.

Also wanted to add that the cover of Real Simple this month had dark purple and aqua--just to give an idea of how they look together. Hopefully the pic I try to post will fit:
Oooo, thank you. I love that first dress! I just got off the phone with my MOH and we're going to look at dresses this week. Hopefully that will narrow down the decision on color. We're probably going to Bridal Suite of Bay Shore.

I know that the Macy's Bridal Salon in Manhasset carries Jordan. I haven't been there yet though. If you see anything good, let me know

My Girls wore Alfred Angelo seperates. Lavendar. The younger ones my Junior Bridesmaids wore Dresses from Davids.
