Im suppose to be in a wedding this year and I just dont think I can do it....how do i graciously bow out?

Just be honest. I had someone tell me she couldnt continue in the BP because she couldnt afford the expense. I totally understood, I would never expect someone to put themselves into debt over my wedding.

Absolutely talk to her, I'm sure she'd understand that it would be too emotional for you. I'm sure many of us would feel that way, I know I would and I would never think anything less of a BM that came to me about it.

Like the others have said, be honest and explain to your friend that it's too hard for you to do. A good friend will understand this.
