Ok girls...I know it may sound weird, but I am going to pick up my e-ring in about an hour....I went with FH to pick it out and everything (and our engagement is no surprise)...but FH wants to actually propose, which he hasn't done yet!
so anyway, the ring is set and ready- but the place closes at 4 pm, and will be closed the rest of the week for Easter and FH can't get out of work (accountant + tax season= no way!) so that leaves me to pick it up.
So I will see it, but i won't wear it until he puts it on my finger....
I just can't wait- I choose a Ceylon blue sapphire center stone with a platinum antique style band with diamond side stones....I wanted it a little different..
I really can't wait to see it!!!!!

This is convenient.
I don't see how you could possibly make that prediction.

Ladies, the more she talks, the better I feel. She sounds like an idiot, shallow and spoiled.
Something about me is obviously bothering this person. Maybe I gave an opinion about a post she had up (if she is not a newbie but changed names just for this) or she just needs to feel better about herself.
Her comments say more about her than they could ever about me.
My condolences to her betrothed.

You don't have a ring yet...you're another psychic, predicting your engagement date...
and yet you're on a wedding website, and you have a wedding date psoted...I guess your Fh is going to run away on you, huh?
If he is, I guarantee it's not because of planning a wedding before a ring...it'll be for other reasons...

You are so funny.
Girls, FYI (and for this person), Ron totally knows if you make a new name for yourself. He explained it to me but I am dumb and don't remember. So if you make a new screen name on the same computer or whatever - it alerts him.
Anyways Jessica - all I have to say is you are a classy lady and congrats! I can't wait for your 'engagement day' --

I have obviously hit a nerve of truth with you and therefore you would like for me to refrain from futher commenting on your very weird 'e- ring situation'. Not to worry, you will be free to comment in your 'updates' to other people who entertain such lunacy. I don't know why you even bothered to give him the ring. If you picked it up, you might as well put it on also! Many comments maybe said about me, but I waited till the ring was on my finger to make wedding plans.
Why do you have to have a ring to be engaged? Plenty of people have been engaged without a ring. The ring is merely an accessory. The real engagement takes place in the heart. You may not like her decisions but you do not have to keep posting about it, especially under fake names! Like I said before, if you don't have something nice to say then don't say it! We have a great bunch of ladies on the '06 board and we don't need your negativity and hatred spewed here.
Jessica, I am glad that you aren't letting this crap get to you. We are all so excited for you and know that without the ring, you and your FI are commited to each other. I am here for you 1000%.

I agree and that day that he actually proposes it's going to be just as special.

Posted by Bride2006 Regardless of his occupation, the way he gives you the ring is a gesture of his love to you. If you picked up the ring for him, what does that mean?
hmmm. my husband & I picked out a ring together I put it on as soon as we picked it up.
I wonder what that says about his love? I thought it just said that he is a bad shopper & wanted me to have something I liked & that we don't really do surprises, b/c everything is pretty much 50/50.
I could be wrong. I guess my almost 6 months of marriage have been a sham.
Oh well.

Wow, I think you and Bride2006 should meet up...misery loves company! The 'two' of you are obviously terribly unhappy with your own lives since you need to insult others to make yourselves happy.
Jessica, the rest of us can't wait to hear about the proposal!

I am not here to ruin anyone's happiness. I am more than happy to see others happy too. I am just questioning Jessica M's FH intentions. .....Like a few people have mentioned, it is my opinion whether it is liked or not.
Are you always such a nasty person? If you don't want to ruin anyone's happiness, then I suggest you keep your catty replies to yourself. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but if you want it to be taken seriously, I suggest you tone it down a notch.
As for your alter ego, you couldn't be more obvious having your first post be in defense of such a person. If you have so much time on your hands, that you can create another name and profile, you should spend it learning to be more creative and less apparent.
Jessica, congratulations to you A man saying 'I do' is what tells you how much he loves you!

who says you cant plan a wedding without a ring!?! i still dont have a ring and we're getting married in 7 months! although i know FH is going to give me one one of these days i dont need a ring on my finger to say that i'm 'engaged' or to plan a wedding. and it has nothing to do with the thoughtfulness of a person or his financial means (because my FH can definitely afford a ring and he's very thoughtful! )--we just have our special circumstances.
