I was originally getting married in September, but I just moved it up this week to July. Im going on Saturday to order my BM dresses, but Im worried they wont be in on time. The bridal salon said the dress I want will take 12-16 weeks. Im not sure if I should even bother to order those dresses then. Help me!!!!

Don't sweat it - the bridal salon wont place an order they can't fulfill.

Try not to worry in the mean time find out if there are other places that offer the dress and can get it for you sooner, in case they can't fill the order.

If one salon can't get the order in for you on time, go to another place. I just ordered my FG dress for June. One shop was going to charge me a rush charge, because they said 4 months was not enough time. I went to the Bridal Suite in Centereach and the owner said that I had more then enough time, and no one should charge me a rush fee. Plus, if worse came to worse, they can always put a rush on the order. Your girls will get charged, but you will get your dresses.
By the way, my sister got married at the Larkfield Manor 8 years ago. It was a great wedding, and the food is fantastic. I think they may have new owners now, but I hear great things about it still.

You may be able to have the dresses rush ordered. However, as Kathleen said, it's best to just ask them at the store. I know David's Bridal typically gets dresses in 4-6 weeks so you may want to consider that as an option.

They can always put a rush on a dress. I was at the bridal salon ordering my girls dress in December and a BM was there ordering a dress for the begining of FEb. She had to pay extra but they promised her that she would get it in time.

My dresses were ordered in october- they came in late december! Def. ask the Bridal shop 1st. Different Designers take more time or less...

I would also try netbride - my dresses came pretty quickly, and I didn't even order them rush.

Heres the skinny: if you need dresses they will do everything to get them in time. They want the business. When we are talking 9+ months out, they take their time with orders. Go to a place on an off day like during the week and speak to an owner. No worries
