My Mom died three years ago after a long illness but two days before that she found the strength and will to get out of bed and go to my grandson's first birthday. It was a large party in my son's backyard. She had an amazing day, smiling and socializing with the family. She refused to be taken home and stayed til the end of the party. A full year later, on my grandson's first birthday, the most beautiful butterfly came to him in his backyard. It hovered over his shoulder and landed on his head. It would leave and return. Imagin, this has occurred for every summer since. Now we also have a granddaughter. The same kind of butterfly comes and sits on the both children's shoulders. A couple of weeks ago my DIL phoned to say they took more videos and photos bec. it is unbelievable to watch. There is definitely more than words can explain here.
Your sister's experience with a butterfly is a truly beautiful one. Thank you for sharing your story.

Thank you for sharing that with me! I truly believe that we have our loved ones watching us all the time, and sometimes they choose to show themselves. When things like this happen, you have to believe that there is an afterlife.

Yes, Imagin, it definitely makes you believe and it is such a comforting experience. I'm so glad we were able to share our stories.
Thanks everyone else for listening. You can't tell stories like this to just anyone.
