holy cow!! the person who left that in the car must have been bitter over losing their SO...that's crazy!!!
i think i would probably sell the ring to a jewler...while it seems like a crazy amount of good luck--i am just a little superstitious and would be afraid some bad luck/karma would follow that ring!

Re: Imagine finding a ring in your car?
He must have been really heartbroken and depressed to leave that in a strangers car. I couldn't imagine the pain and hurt he felt to do that. So...Sad!

How strange, and here I'm always worried about my car doors being locked. That is sad though for the reader. Does anyone else wish that he would have said more in his note I want to know the rest of the story.

Re: Imagine finding a ring in your car?
i hope the guy who found it ends up selling it and offering the money to some charity. i wouldn't want to receive a ring (no matter how expensive and gorgeous it may be) that resulted from someone else's heartbreak.
on the other hand...maybe i should start keeping my car doors unlocked!

Re: Imagine finding a ring in your car?
A friend of mine put his gold ring in his glove compartment when his wife asked for a divorce. He got rid of the car about 2 years later and I don't think he ever removed the ring. It wasn't a very expensive ring, but still.
