FH's birthday present has just been ruined. He just told me that his brother got him the same exact thing that I did, only he obviously gave it to him first, and FH doesn't know it's the same thing I got.
Do I also give him the gift knowing it's a duplicate, and force him to choose who's to return?
Or do I send it back on my own and run really quick to BBB right now to buy him the BBQ set he wanted off the registry and he'll never be the wiser?

i'd go with the bbq set and tell him that you got him the shirt since you knew he wanted it but returned it after you heard his bro got it for him....

Its kind of hard answering this without knowing what it is...
Is it something sorta personalized where he would prefer the one you got over his brothers?? Or is it the same exact thing...
If its the same exact thing, then I'd go get him the bbq set and laugh with him about the duplicate gift after his bday instead of making him worry or feel bad about it beforehand.

It's an Islanders t-shirt, but it's the exact same player name and number on the back.
I just called BBB, they put a set up at customer service for me, so I'm going to run and get it ASAP. I'm so annoyed! Only me LOL.
