Are children required in the US to be vaccinated against Tuberculosis via Bacillus Calmette-Guerin (BCG) vaccine? Is this the scientific name for the TB vaccine? And if so, are supposed to get this once per year?

I REALLY dont think TB is one of the things they give shots for!!!
I could be wrong because Emmas book is in the car but I dont think so.

People in the US DO NOT get the BCG vaccine. Actually, it is not thought to work well and can cause confusion with interpreting PPD results.
