I just upated my profile b/c I realized there is a Metropolitan Club in Manhattan, but that's not where my reception is!!

I was curious as to who your caterer is b/c I work for a catering/event planning company in Manhattan that plans events there all the time. I thought that if you booked with us, I'd make sure you were treated well!

Enjoy that space, its beautiful!!

We looked at Thomas Preti also...it was actually a tough choice. You are so sweet to say that though. Is it the Metropolitan in Glen Cove -- that is a uniquely beautiful space also and you certainly have an amazing wedding!

They both do a great job!! (There really aren't any large catering companies in Manhattan that aren't great at what they do!)

Yes we booked the Club Room at the Metropolitan; it should be really different. I liked it because its not a traditional reception-like space and since ours will be a smaller wedding (about 80 guests), its hard to find a nice place that does not treat you like the ugly step-sister to the brides with larger wedding receptions!!

If its not too late to recommend a NYC florist, try Botanica - their work is amazing.

We actually went with Anthony Todd -- We just were so eye to eye on our vision for the space. I had looked a several florists and just wanted to be floored by the person, you know what I mean?
