I am wondering how their sizes run? My BM are ordering the mermaid style ones and they are all pretty tiny girls. (Size 4-6). Should they order their size or up a size?
Also I am ordering from a store in NC near my sister because they are MUCH cheaper thatn NY prices! It is unbelievable how bad they rip you off here! (or maybe they have to cover overhead here....expensive rent, etc.)

i would have them get measured up here and bring the measurements w/ you when you order dresses most have a size chart they go by

you should have all of your girls measured first this way the dresses will be ordered correctly

I would definitely have your girls get measured and then look at a size chart.
Does the place in NC ask for measurements or for sizes? If they ask for sizes, they should be able to provide you with the size charts to convert the measurements to the appropriate size they should order.

We used Impressions seperates for our girls. (Great choice btw, we LOVE them!!) I noticed they tend to run REALLY small....for example, my friend who is a regular size 7-ish measured as a 10 on their size chart!! You also need to account for height, extra needs to be added on for girls over 5'10' (my sister for example is 5'11' and needed extra length on her dress.
I would go to an online store (like netbride.com) where they have the actual designers size charts. Measure your girls and compare it to the chart to get their sizes. We had to do this for one of our ladies who was overseas when we ordered dresses. She sent me her measurements and I used the chart on netbride to get the correct size and everything was fine.
I can't stress enough how important it is that you actually measure them and don't just order 2 or 3 sizes up, everyone's body is different and there is only so much alterations can accomplish.

They definitely run small. I'd even venture to say very small. I think having your girls measured is a must, but even with the measuring, I'd recommend ordering at least a size up because it's easier to take a dress in than let it out. We wore impressions separates for a wedding I was in and nobody could breathe, even my skinny mini friends! Several ppl had to actually go get the dresses let out... not pretty. Even though the dresses themselves were pretty!!
