In a quandary about registering.

Need some advice.

I need recommendations on:
a) places to register
b) examples of things to register for
c) what places do you not recommend registering at and why

TIA

Bed Bath & Beyond is a good place to register--they give you a whole list of what to register for. Also your guests can use coupons ($5 off $15 or 20% off) and if you decide you don't want something after your wedding you can return it for CASH! I also registered at Fortunoffs & Crate & Barrel (just b/c I love C&B and so does my FH).

I went with Fortunoffs. They walk around with you. Give you suggestions on what to register for.

I wouldnt reccomend Macys. I had a registry there and actually delete it and went to Fortunoffs. I dont think its fair that since they dont stock most of their items your guests are expected to pay for shipping. But thats just me.

I did BB&B, Fortunoff's and had to do Macy's for bedding....which I haven't found yet!!!!!

BB&B is good because they now have china and will match bonuses etc, and you can use the coupons!!

We did macy's and they were fantastic. We also did linens and things. If you register at macys when you go there they give you a whole list of suggested things to register for.

Macy's - most of the things people register for go on sale all the time plus if someone buys you something off your registry they get free gift wrapping and they have this 10% cash back program

BBB - Awsome store, alot of things much cheaper then macys & fortunoff and they always send out really good coupons!! Plus they return stuff for CASH instead of store credit!

I also like fortunoff but didn't register there.

Register for Towels, bedding, sheets, glasses, everyday dishes, china, silverware, vases, candlesticks, picture frames, entertaining items like serving bowls, ice bucket, baking pans, appliances like toaster ovens, regular toaster, microwave, blender, food processor, Coffe maker, mixer, iron, pots & pans, bathroom accesories, luggage etc
