Do you ever feel like you sometimes disconnect with your fh?
I spent the weekend with him but it feels as though before that we each were so busy doing our own thing, we forgot about each other...
We live together and though we make it our business to eat dinner together every night, sometimes we have no time to just hang out. Then its like other times I am so tired from work, I go to bed and he's up for another 2 hours...
Am I the only one? Is this normal? We TRY to make time for just us two, but sometimes its impossible. Between both his jobs and my job, its really hard...

Awww! Don't feel sad! I feel this way sometimes too. FH and I both work 6 days a week and I feel like we never see each other. Also he has a son so we hardly ever have time alone. But when we do its so special! Also this weather is probably making you feel even worse. Cheer up!

Re: in a slump?
YOur DEFINATELY not the only one!
Owning my own dance studio is very demanding, and keeps me out of the house a lot. Especially during the months of Jan-June when we are busy with competitions, traveling to judge competitions, and recital. I get home and FH is asleep or on the couch watching a game. I'm too am too exhausted to talk.
We actually just had a BIG.... talk about this. It ended with me and FH in tears. He told me how much he misses me and how he feels like we're loosing touch from each other. We vowed there that one, next year, Im cutting back, and two we are going to make it a point to make time for each other. He even admitted that too needs to turn off the game some times so that we can have a converstation.
talk to him about how your feeling and them talk about ways to fix this. Then make sure to stick to it. Me and FH are getting back to our usual selves now after we had that talk.
Good Luck Sweetie.

Re: in a slump?
Communication is key! Its so important that you have that time together even if it means you having to stay up an extra hour for that. Its worth it in the end. I think every couple at somepoint goes through this & if youjust talk about it & figure a way to makie it work you will be so much more happier!
