in desperate need of Opinions NWR: (LONG)

This is a really tough thing for me and I am debating what to do. I am getting mixed resposes and I figured I could see what you ladies would do.

In feb of this year my uncle passed away from melanoma at 39years old. Right before he was diagnosed he proposed to his gf of 1 year.

Right after that he found out he had cancer. She hstayed with him and we all thought she was wonderful for this but later found out she told a friend that she will only do this as his wife b.c she wants to get something out of it. Noone made a big deal about this at first.

Well right after that she went into wedding mode it was all about the wedding and not about him or his treatments.

I knew melanoma stage 4 was bad so I did a lot of research and called all different cancer hospitals and was on the phone for 1 1/2 gathering reseach and many of them told me not to do chemo it won't work. I also went to website and printed out a ton of info.

Around that time my aunt suggested this man who sold these shakes that are supposed to cure cancer. They were primarily vitamins and I don't think would have cured him but would have helped. she was feeing him hot dogs for lunch. She freaked out on my aunt and on the man b.c he was charging so much my mom said she was screaming at the man like a syco. after that she wouldn't talk to my mom and my aunt or return calls.

Soo I bought my research to them and handed it to them and she didn't even read anything threw it aside and said STEM CELL IS too much money.

Everything was about money but they planned a HUGE wedding at the venetian yacht club. She wanted chocolate menus which are ridiculous added cost and my uncle was soo sick and tired at the wedding.

She refused to spend any money on anything for my uncles life. I know she used the comp and I know she reads.

Well anyway my uncle passed away and she now wont talk to anyone at all. She is nasty to my grandfather and is just insane.

My grandfather recently confessed that she used to flip out and scream that she hates my mom my aunt and me for budding in and telling them to do expensive treatments and how we don't do what she does so we dont have a say.

My uncle was a cop and she got over 450,000 from his death and when they went to a charity for him she wasnt' wearing her wedding rings.

I want to write her a email with my feelings and this email will prob state all the things I talked about in here. Am I Wrong for wanting to do this?? Please any suggestions.

This is a really difficult situation and I am sorry for you and your family for having to go through this.

If I were you I would write the letter BUT I would sleep on it for a few days and see if you still want to send it.

Have you reached out to her at all to see if she was willing to sit down with you and a few of the family members just to talk? I mean, technically she IS family

im sorry to hear about your uncle. may his soul rest in peace.

this matter is not suited for an email.. a face to face talk would be more appropriate IMO

Honestly i can see why youd want to contact her and get it off your chest but i have a bad feeling that in the end you're going to feel worse. If you're right about this woman, she's a heartless biatch and she's going to blast back at you.

Its unfair bc you loved your uncle and this woman seems like a goldigger. In the end i would write her off as dead to me.

I personally don't think you have anything to lose if you write it. They don't have kids together so it's not like she can take anything away from you and she is already not talking to you. Maybe its a misunderstanding or maybe she's a horrible person. I would definitely let her know how you feel!!!! If email is how it is easiest to do then do it. You don't owe her anything

ITA. actions speak louder than words and her actions say she is one callous bitc h. It makes me feel horrible for you and your family to have no control over a terrible situation. Losing a loved one and dealing with this witch at that.

If it will make you feel better, I would write the email to get it off your chest. Please don't expect a heartfelt reply...if she DOES respond and is in any way nasty, just hit delete.

Thanx guys!! We have tried several times to connect with her. She doesn't answer phone calls and won't respond to texts. But I keep hearing more nasty things about her and it just makes me mad I didn't say anything sooner. My cousins who got close with her she won't even respond to and my uncles wish was that she would watch over them before he died. My couins mother is flakey and they look to us for family dinners and my uncle was always there for them. My cousin texted her the other day I got a bf and I would love to meet you for lunch to talk about it and she responded conrats to you!! thats it. I want to punch her.
