Re: In-home Pre-cana

I am doing in-home Pre-Cana. There are two host couples and we have three classes, plus an opening night and a closing mass (both on Sundays). It is $30 and so far it has been enjoyable. Tonight is the last class and Sunday is the closing mass in which the engaged couples stand and the parishioners offer a prayer and blessing on all of the couples.

I go to St. Anne's in Brentwood and the host couples have been doing this for 20 years and are really nice.

My church offers in home pre cana, but you have to be getting marrried at the church to sign up for it. If you're catholic, the RVC Diocese offers a lot of sessions you can go to (not in home though). I think they either have a Sat. & Sun (all day) or you can go for 4 weekday evenings. I thought we were going to have trouble working out the dates for pre-cana, but with the in-home we were able to work out the best dates for everyone with the other couples in our group.
