I'm 25% Irish, though you would never know it by looking at me, or seeing me start to dance on a table after half a drink.

Anyone who wants to hear the bagpipes play 'OH Danny Boy' here is my uncle's band playing it with a little twist...its called Club Danny Boy
Oh and here is Cajun Grace, which is a sped up version of Amazing Grace. My uncles band plays after the wood band people. This is when they played in Ireland last St. Paddys Day

I'm 100% Irish! I usually go to the parade every single year. As kids we marched in it every year. I'm going to watch it on TV this year. When you go you miss a lot of it and It's hard to enjoy it... plus it's sooo long of a day if you go out at night too... lot's of drinking hours. I even took off for it. And I took off Wed too so I can drink it! I love St. Pat's day. Actually today I wanted to post my St Pat day pic fm last year as my avatar but I didn't wanna take the crown away. It was a hard decision though. I figure I can put it up Sat.
We are def having bagpipers! So now I have some q's - those having bagpipers when are they playing? At the church? As you go down the aisle? Just when you leave? At the CH? any other time? I have no idea how this should work.
Also, approx how much are they? Who did you get to do it? I was looking into this a few months ago but I wasn't ready to book it yet... I usually take my time to research things like a freak!

Oh and MARY - I LOVE IRISH MUSIC. Even though my grandmother is crazy and she drives me nuts and well she's a bit of a b*tch... the one good memory I have of her from when i was little is all the Irish music she would play for me. I know the songs still now... but only if I hear them. They are usually upbeat ones too.

I'm going to get a tattoo of a fairy with shamrocks in the background somehow or of her holding one. I want to lose some weight first. Then I'm so going for it. Plus I need to find a really good artist bc fairies are hard to tattoo.. they can be so detailed.
