I must admit, I looove Marines the best!! (I think I am a bit partial since my best fruiend was in the USMC and I met a lot of her guy friends)

I wish I could post a pic of my Grandfather, who recently passed away, but I have no pics of him on the computer. We will be burying him tomorrow in Pinelawn National Ceremtary tomorrow.

Heres one of my veteran grandfathers...with me on my first communion day! Sadly, he passed away a little over 3 years ago...

Thank you Holly! This picture was taken at the Coast Guard base in Cape May a couple of weeks ago. FH's little brother was graduating from Coast Guard boot camp. FH got to present his brother with his graduation certificate. It was so cute seeing them salute each other! FH actually is not in the Corps anymore - he got out right before we met. So this was the first time I got to see him in uniform. I SO wanted to take advantage of him! (but I never got the chance with his family around). I made him promise he'll wear it for me on Valentine's Day .

Here is my wonderful Beepa that I loved so much. He was a WW2 Naval veteran!!! Sadly he passed away in 91 but I love him and miss him everyday

I'm a daughter of Immigrants so I don't have any Veterens (American anyway) in my family!!

I think this is a great idea..

Unfoturnately I have no pics of all my vets.. and really bad ones of my brother and father.

Technically every single male in my family is a vet (minus two).

It's a pride issue for us. You 'have' to serve (if youre male). Unfortunately they've all gone in during a war or were in one before they left. My Dad & Brother's names are on a memorial wall which freaks me out since they're both still alive.

So to all my family as we say 'Thanks Big O for taking one for the country, family and freedom'

ETA:
My Pop & Bro were Navy.
The Uncles were Air Force & Navy,
Grandpa was Army and cousins are split between Navy & Marines with a few Army.
No coast guard but we are very military proud in our family. Makes for some VERY interesting moments from time to time, but we do get along.

Personally I love the Navy Whites!!!

I wish I had pics of my veterans on my computer. Both of my grandfathers are WWII Vets. I just wish that they were both here to see me get married. . I will post pictures of them later.

Here is my dad who fought in Vietnam

And this is Kenny, my moms fiance who also fought in Vietnam. He was a green beret.
God bless him!

And this is me with my best friend at my wedding last year. He has been in Iraq now for 6 months.

Remember them all!

I'll post pics tonight when I get home but both my grandfathers are WWII vets, Dad is a Vietnam vet and my younger brother is on active duty with the Army National Guard right now. Thankfully, he's stationed in Albany right now, but he keeps getting wind that his unit could be the next relief unit deployed to Iraq.

Great pics ladies. I have no vets in my family, but DH's dad was in the Army in WWII (he passed away in 91). I have nothing but respect for all of our brave soldiers past and present.
