in house vendors

hello. i am trying to decide what vendors to check out for my july 2006 wedding at atlantis marine world. they have a list of in house vendors and i would like to try to use their vendors since it is a unique location and using vendors with experience with our location might work to our benefit.

here is a list...please let me know if you have had positive or negative experiences with any of the following vendors...

photography: ADA Photography, Jovon Photography

flowers: Dalsimer Florist, Fleurs De Florissima, James Cress Florist, Ltd, Jack & Rose

officiant: Rev. Joseph DeVincenzo

James Cress is amazing...my family has always used him for any flower needs. I will use him for my flowers. My friend is getting married this July and she said he was the only florist that had all the usual flowers and then some. She said that he was able to show her the ideas she was giving him while she was there...hope this helps

I used James Cress - and OMG! My flowers and centerpieces were amazing!!

I also used ADA and the photographer and assitant were so wonderful and totally put me at ease (I hate being the center of attention). Plus, they already have my proofs ready I just haven't had the opportunity to get them yet. So they're actually waiting on me hehehe

thank you for sharing your thoughts! my matre d' told me that tommy tunes is only good if you get certain dj's-that they became too 'big'. he recommended glenn from get in tune also, he told me to throw in his name and tell them i'll book them if they throw in the ceromony and coctail hour for free. i don't know how good my negotiating skills are though. he told be they not to use jovon that they have had a lot of problems with them and that they won't be on their list anymore. he added timexposures for photography to their list and said i can probable get a good deal with them because they are new to them and they'll want to book as many clients as possible at first. thanks all!
