in laws from hell

I'd like to reply, but I fear for my life.

Nah, she isn't that bad. I just find her kinda...butt-insky. It is her daughter, and I understand. But sometimes I wish she would leave us alone. I think everyone usually has trouble with in-laws. Her dad is really cool though, for the most part. Until influenced by said mother.

Just try to remain diplomatic.

Well, I love Mr. Hostility's parents!!! I love his mom, she is so sweet and I feel very close to her! His dad is a bit anal sometimes, but he's a great guy too. Look forward to having them as my family!

I hear that. My FMIL hated me at first. Now she likes me. But they have not offered to help out for the wedding yet. Maybe as it gets closer they will, FMIL thinks I am planning sooo far in advance.

I guess I am fortunate .. I adore my future in-laws, they are both such sweet and nice people.. They have treated me like a 'daughter' from the beginning, and have been SO helpful with the wedding planning since we were engaged .. they are contributing $$ , too, without any 'restrictions..' Which is also AMAZING

I am one of the lucky ones, I know!

MY FMIL said to my FH 'I don't have to pay for anymore weddings I paid for your sisters wedding (they paid for the reception) So now i'm done' They refuse to help with anything didnt even offer a dime.

ETA by the time we get married FH and I will be together for 9 years!!
