In-Laws that suck!
OK so here is my problem, in summary. FSIL had no problem with me until FH and I got engaged, and then all of sudden it was major b**ch alert. She started saying horrible things to me that I will not even repeat and she has made my life miserable for the past two years!!! So FMIL & FFIL have witnessed her behavior and have done nothing because apparently she gets away with anything & everything. We told future inlaws way before the invitations went out that she was not invited to the wedding because of the way she has been toward me and my FH, and they had nothing to say. Then we get a phone call by them telling FH he is no longer their son and he is a horrible person, meanwhile we have done nothing!!!! So now his parents are all upset that they are going to look like idiots at the wedding because their daughter isn't there, but EVERYBODY in the family already knows the situation and has actually congratualted us on standing up to her because nobody ever has. Now they are paying for the rehearsal dinner and I got them a little something and when I went to write the thank you I could not even think of waht to say??!! Thanks for all the headaches, all the drama, for turning your back on me .... So any suggestions on generic thank you's to put in the little card?? Sorry that was kind of long.
