I have my mother and a young cousin that have passed away and want to include them in the reception/ceremony. Anyone do a special memorial for someone?

I included a note in the programs. You can do that, a memorial candle, a single red rose in your bo-k, or an empty chair that you place a rose on as you go up the aisle.

I would probably do something subtle like the memory candle. We are also going to do a remember reading for those who could be with us-very brief.

I am having a memory table during the reception but here are some other ideas:
-have a dedication written on the last page of the programs -some clergy will do a dedication to loved ones who have passed -you can put a rose on an empty seat at the ceremony in memory of your guests who will be there only in spirit.
My memory table will have pictures of loved ones who have passed w/ a poem. My florist is providing candles and rose petals for the table also.
