i'm also getting a picture frame and attaching it to my Bo-k of my parents. Its a way for me to know that they aren't there..and have them close to me ....without upsetting everyone else with doing a memorial thing.

I love this idea & was going to do it with a picture of my grandparents. Where can I find a small frame?

TIA!

I love that idea. I was so upset that my grandma passed before we got engaged and even more upset that she wont be at our wedding.

you girls think of everything!

I might just have to make one myself!

Thanks for sharing that!!

I am going to have a photograph theme my centerpieces are flowers and photographs of me and my FH as children and growing up. I am also included photos of my departed uncle and granfather. I didnt want something overly morbid or depressing.

My mother passed away so I am going to do the picture frame charms and attach it to my Bo-k in memory of her. And also probably the memory candles.

Re: In memory...

Just to add in my experiences. I'm the MOB, the last 2 weddings had memorials, which I had never seen before. Both had a table with the pictures of thier loved one and votives in front of them. It was very touching, but.............. As the night went on and people became more sentimental with the help of wine, they started to go up to the table and cry! It became very sorrowful to see and I think people just can't help it. At my cousins wedding I was dancing around and having a great time and all of a sudden I turned and there was this table with pictures and candles. I walked over and on this table was a picture of my mother. I was shocked and know she did it out of love and respect. I have to say though, I had to go outside and it made me cry, a lot. I was not aware they were going to do that and it just hit me. So I just think that something less noticable but that you yourself know is there is better. Just my thoughts.

Re: In memory...

I'm doing bouqet charms of my uncle and grandfather. I bought a bracelet kit from Michaels that contains mini frames and i'm going to string them together with other beads and attach to my bouqet. Cost $8. FM if you want more specific info.
