In Memory Candle question w/ poll
Re: In Memory Candle question w/ poll
A lot of people set them up on a table next to their placecard table; this seems similar to that. I think it's fine - if you have access to a fireplace mantle instead of a table, I say go for it.
Re: In Memory Candle question w/ poll
I think they would look great on the mantle of the fireplace.
Re: In Memory Candle question w/ poll
I think it would be beautiful. We plan on having one in memory of my FH's mother. We arn't including everyone who has passed as most of our grandparents have already. So just one for her, it will be lit during the ceremony and then brought to the reception. If I had a fireplace in my room that is exactly where I would put it too.
Re: In Memory Candle question w/ poll
yes i like your idea, what a thoughtful way to remember them!
Re: In Memory Candle question w/ poll
I think that's a great spot to put them
Re: In Memory Candle question w/ poll
I agree....its a wonderful idea. I am planning on doing one also...but I am putting it on our table.
Re: In Memory Candle question w/ poll
I think it's a great way to honor them. IMO honoring loved ones that have passed on is not morbid; I think it's beautiful because when one dies, this is how they have to live on, on earth at least.
Re: In Memory Candle question w/ poll
i think it will look very nice
Re: In Memory Candle question w/ poll
i think that is very nice. fh and i were gonna get a vase and have everyone drop a flower in there. to remember there lost ones. ur idea is great.
Re: In Memory Candle question w/ poll
I think the fireplace is a great place for your memory candle...but maybe not so many flowers?? It might look morbid with a lot of flowers...sorry JMHO!! Are you booked at Land's End, maybe you could also try the piano. We had ours there with a vase of flowers.
