Did you just have them at your ceremony? (we're doing a poem at the back of our prgrams)
Did you do a memorial table at your reception? Where was it located if you did it at the reception?
Can you please post pics of your memorial candles and how you set it up or plan to set it up?
I want to do a memorial candle in memory of my grandmother and FH's father. I've seen some candles...but I'm not sure how to go about setting it all up.

Our wedding is not until 9/27/08 but we are having memorial candles for both fh & my dad. Initially I was going to make the candles with vellum paper, then I saw glass holders with the names etched on them ($40 each) I looked up etched glass and found a website that does them for under $20 each !!! Shop around if this is something you want. We are keeping ivory candles lit on a table by the place cards with framed pics of our dads.

I called and spoke to a woman on Thurs. or Fri. last week - told her what it was for and she said it would be perfect for a candle - price includes engraving/etching !!!! I even said there were websites charging double the price ..she said she could not take advantage of people like others do !!!

This is mine. I bought everything at Michaels (vellum paper, ribbon, candle, candle holder, glue gun).
I am putting it on the table with my cardbox. It wont be out for the ceremony.

We are lighting our memory candle at the church to burn during the ceremony- but we will also have a memory table at the rh- it will have pictures of our loved ones and the candle will be placed there during the reception- and we probably will scatter some rose petals on the table
