I just came back from having to put my 7 1/2 year old ferret to sleep. It was horrible, but it had to be done. She was a super senior in ferret years and had lost a lot of weight and was very weak. Last night she stopped walking and eating. She was actually a gift from FH. Worst part is that I had to report to work right after because I am using all my vacation time to go to NY for the wedding.
Anywho, just needed a hug!

omg Valerie, I'm so sorry!!! I know what you're going through.. my ferret is going to be 8 in a month... and she's def showing her age... she's bounced back from a bunch of illnesses and I just see the fight in her to keep on going... but she's slowly losing.
FH tells me to put her down, and that he won't live with her after the wedding.... I just don't know what to do!
