I'm looking for a great L.I. photographer for a great price(as always) I want a photojournalistic photographer with a full day of coverage. I've been getting quotes of $5,000 and up & it's just not do-able! i know they are out there! please help!

I highly recommend Twelfth Night Photo they are definitely affordable and photojournalistic. But you also get some traditional shots. You should check out the Bride's Review board for pictures...N.Y.Bride, KimberlyBride, GoingNutty, lanikai and myself have used them recently. But ther are other gorgeous brides with reviews of them as well.

I am using Christina Bohn. She does a full day and does photojournalistic. Her web site has all her info and she is less than $5000.

I paid way less than half of that and got 2 photographers from 12th night. One photojournalist and one regular. Heres a few pics I just found on the photo recreation thread :)
Annnd u can get two photographers and a video guy for under 5k.

I'm using Kim Covell and she's great. She starts at $950 for 4 hours and then charges $200 for each additional hour. But she also charges $50 per roll of film to be developed. So pretty much when all is said and done, she's about $2000. But you get:
-ALL the negatives -2 4x6 pictures of each shot -parent photos -she shoots both color & black and white -Film & digital -Puts all the pictures on a CD for you so you can upload them, send them to people, or make additional enlargements.

I beg to differ. Two years ago when I went to check them out, I was told they do not do much photojournalism, and the quote I got was 6K for 300 proofs.
I second Christina Bohn. I used her for my wedding and she is amazing.

my photographer is great. he works with another photographer. One traditional one photo journalistic b/w
he can work with ANY package and his prices can range
we paid a lil over 5...but that is what we decided to budget and it is video also...but he did have tons of packages check him out
he is such a nice guy

I visited 12 photographers .. its hard to find that price but its there... Best advice is duet ... spelman studios, ADA, and jessica's were all great but more then ur budget though I chose ADA cause we loved them. Stay away from VIP, Patkins, and Casserino studios cause although they do nice work their very very pricey. Duet is ur best choice when it comes to money! Good luck
