In need of some encouragement

We asked all the members of our BP to take part in our big day by this past May. Since then we've spent alot of time with FH's cousins. Four of them are female & we've grown close over the past couple months. We want to ask them into the BP but I don't want them to think why all of a sudden they are being asked & why not earlier in the year. I know I'm being stupid for thinking this but for some reason I do. I think of our wedding day as a big family day & would love for them to be a part of it by being in our BP. I guess I just need some words of encouragement b/c we are asking them next weekend when we are all together. Thanks guys for letting me get this off my chest!

I think you could just say that you have grown to love and appreciate them so much over the past few months and now you can't see your wedding day without them as a big part of it.
I think it's very sweet!

I think that you should explain it to them the same way you just did to us. Its sounds very sweet and I'm sure they also realize that your relationship has grown closer in the past few months, and will be touched by you acknowledging it.

Great!!! I'm so glad...I don't want them to feel insulted. Knowing them, I think they will feel honored...they're a great bunch of girls!

I had to do that with 2 of my close girlfriends. We asked everyone at our e-party who was going to be in the BP. But then it dawned on me that I love these 2 girls like sisters and I wanted them involved too! So I 'created' positions for them and they were truly honored! I just told them that I always knew they were going to take part, it was just a matter of laying out the plans to see exactly what they'd be doing. Hope that helps.
