In order...

So being a new bride to be planner I am having a hard time figuring out what should be booked first and last...

Can you girls help me out by writing me some sort of list of the things that should be booked first to the things that should be booked last....

im no expert but imo

rh and church should be first

then id go wth photoand video cause they book up fast

i would say the hall!
and also if you getting married at a chruch,
find out what dates they have available!

the hall and the church have to both have the same day available other wise it wont work! haha!

but once the hall and chruch are booked, all the major vendors come next

you can normally wait a little longer to book the limos!

start looking for THE DRESS and BM dresses in the mean time!

I booked in this order:

RH & Church
(found the RH, had them hold the date, then booked the church, then officially the RH)
Photo / Video
Band
Limo
Florist

Obviously book the RH first, and if you are getting married in a church then book that too.

The rest can be booked based upon your personal preferences. I did:

Band
Photog/videog
florist (just started)
Limo (this is FH's job)

You can play around with the order of these based upon how important each one is to you.

I did:

RH
DJ
Photo/Video
Officiant
Florist

that's it so far...i got my dress and veil right after I booked the photographer

I agree with above...you have to have a date booked to book your vendors, so book your Rh and church/temple/synagogue first. Then photo, music/entertainment, florist, video, and somewhere after you book your RH and the place you are getting married, start trying on dresses and book makeup and hair, and buy/make your invites at least 4-5 mos before your date. Yes lots to do lol!! But if you neeed any help that's what we are here for!! GL and happy planning!!

Definitely get the church and RH settled.
